Our course leaders are highly experienced board directors, with broad experience of running businesses, ranging from small companies up to companies with billions of sales.
The Senior Course tutors are all highly qualified and very well experienced individuals. Their delivery styles are dynamic, approachable and highly interactive, enabling them to deliver a workshop that you will benefit from and that you will remember and be able to put into practice in your company. Their courses are typically assessed as “Excellent” by their delegates. A Senior Course Leader will assume the lead role on your course and deliver the majority of that course.
One Senior Course Leader is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, an FCA, and a Chartered Director. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Consulting and sits on the Thames Valley Board of the Chartered Management Institute. For several years he was also the Senior Course Leader on the Finance for Non-Finance Managers course of the Chartered Management Institute. His experience spans over 30 years of successful Global experience with multinationals and SMEs, including company acquisitions and disposals, as well as growing companies from start-up to multimillion pound businesses. He spent 10 years as the Finance Director and then the Chief Executive of a Plc. Prior to that he spent 14 years with KPMG Management Consulting, IBM and Arthur Andersen.
He spent 11 years on the Chartered Director Committee of the Institute of Directors, which determined what UK Board Directors should know, in order to properly fulfil their role as a company director. This committee helped to shape the Institute of Directors examination syllabus in the UK. After his time on the Chartered Director Committee, he served for a year on the Accreditation and Standards Committee of the Institute of Directors.
Another Senior Course Leader is probably one of the best qualified people in the world to deliver Leadership and Strategy modules. He is a former Microsoft Finance Director. Until late 2019, he was based in Seattle, in charge of the $4bn turnover Windows Application division. During his last years with Microsoft, he was part of the elite Microsoft Leadership Coaching team that nurtured and cultivated the talents of the Microsoft Senior Executive and Director talent pool.
He holds an Oxford University M.Sc. and is an accredited international executive coach. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, an FCA. Professional Director Association Training and Development In-House
The Professional standards of the Professional Directors Association are extended to cover our standard scheduled training courses and our in-house courses, which can be delivered as internal training courses at your premises or at any other suitable location.
Course can be delivered as an in-house Director Development Programme at your premises. Even with small groups, the fees per person can be lower than for open in-person events. Especially once the travel costs and the travel time of the delegates are taken into account.

Company Board Director Qualification and CPD
The Accelerated Board Director Certificate Qualification Programme is a comprehensive director qualification that is fully audited and quality controlled by the Professional Directors Association.
The Board Director Certificate Qualification is recognised for CPD purposes by most professional institutes and associations including the Law Society, the CIM, the CMI, the ICAEW, the Institute of Learning and the CIPD. Upon completion of the Board Director Certificate Course, you will be issued with the professional Board Director Certificate.
In addition to the Board Director Certificate Qualification, separate formal Certificates of Professional Development will be issued to delegates for each of the separate component courses, which will validate your CPD hours. The component courses are each recognised as separate qualifications.
The To ensure the directors attending this Accelerated Company Board Director Certificate training programme will obtain the maximum possible benefit from their time spent on the course, the Director numbers will be limited to a maximum of 8 within each cohort.

If you were to attend just 3 days of our training courses, we would plant 300 trees for you; offsetting 3,690kg, or approximately 23%, of your estimated annual CO2 emissions.
